Bio
Born in Michoacán, México in 1993, Hugo is currently seeking a Communication BA and a Documentary Studies minor at the University of Utah. From there, he previously graduated with a BA in Film and Media Arts and continues to pursue his passion for storytelling across various media formats. From creating an award winning documentary series, UOrgs; shedding light on student groups and clubs at the University of Utah campus, to working on narrative, animated, and live action film projects. He uses film to explore his cultural roots and give people a glimpse at his perspective and understanding of different social issues.
